Identical twin girls set apart by rare form of dwarfism
Sienna Bernal looks up to her sister Sierra, in more ways than one.
Like other twins, the teenagers share the same hair colour and physical traits, but tiny Sienna is only four feet tall while Sierra towers over her at five feet one inch.Despite being identical twins, 13-year-old Sienna is less than half the size of her sister as she was born with primordial dwarfism.
Sienna, known as Sinny to her family, also tips the scales at just 37 pounds, less than half her sister’s 81 pound weight.
The girls, from Houston in Texas, are the only identical twins in the world in which one sibling is a primordial dwarf.

Sienna was so small that doctors didn’t even realise her mum Chrissy was expecting twins until she was six months pregnant.
When she was born, Sienna weighed less than a pound and suffers from a number of health problems, including a hole in the heart and Dandy Walker syndrome, where part of her brain is missing.
However, she wasn’t diagnosed with primordial dwarfism until she was six years old.
Speaking about being a twin, Sienna told Fox News: ““It’s awesome. You can look at your twin and see if an outfit is going to look good on you.
“Also, it gives you an automatic buddy. If you have no one to talk to, you can talk to your twin.”

‘Big’ sister Sierra is also incredibly protective of her sibling.
She added: “Being Sienna’s twin is pretty cool. It makes me even more special. Being Sienna’s twin has made me a strong person.
“Plus, I can pretty easily see who my real friends are because Sienna and I are a packaged deal. If you don’t like her because she’s different, then you don’t get me.”
The girls live with their mum, dad Joey and 16-year-old brother Austin.
